Knights Volleyball
Volleyball has ended for the 2022-2023 school year. If you have questions about the program, contact Athletic Director Kelley Gowling at kelley.gowling@stpaulmenomonie.com or via the office. Thank you players and parents for a very positive season of volleyball!
Participating Grades:
St. Paul’s offers volleyball in the fall for 3rd through 8th grade girls. Girls in 6th-8th grade make up the A team and girls in 3rd-5th grade form the B team. Girls in 5th grade may also be invited to play on the A team.
Practices & Conference:
The volleyball team practices after school twice a week. As a member of the Chippewa Valley Lutheran Schools Conference, we play against St. Mark Eau Claire, Messiah Eau Claire, and St. John’s Neillsville. At times we play against schools who are not a part of our conference.
Away Games:
Parents are responsible for transporting or finding transportation for their child to all away games. If parents are unable to provide transportation, the volleyball coach may be contacted for assistance. Carpooling is common and encouraged when traveling to away games.
Home Games:
Student athletes may go home and return 20 minutes prior to the game time or attend an after school study hall in Mrs. Gowling’s classroom. A healthy snack is allowed – no soda. In the event a student does not display proper self-control, she will be given a warning. On the second infraction, the child will no longer be able to attend future study halls for the season.
Coaches:
Mrs. Gowling and Mrs. Howe will coach for the 2022-2023 volleyball season. If you have questions, please email Mrs. Gowling at kelley.gowling@stpaulmenomonie.com.
