3K Classroom – Mrs. Bjork
Hello! My name is Mrs. Kelly Bjork and I am the 3k and EDP teacher. This is my second year teaching 3k but I have been assisting and teaching in 3k and 4k at St Pauls since 2019. I grew up in Missouri but Menomonie has been my home since 2010. I have a Masters in theology from Life Christian University. I met my husband Andrew at Love Church in Menomonie (where we attend) and married him in 2018. This summer we celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary and our daughter’s, Glory, third birthday. I also have two step daughters that attend St. Paul’s, Tabitha (6th) and Liliana (4th). In my free time, I like to go to our camper, play with my dog Maui, cross stitch, and read books.
4K Classroom – Mrs. Hadenfeldt
Hello! I am Kristin Hadenfeldt and this is my 21st year teaching at St. Paul’s School! I grew up in Fond du Lac, WI where my dad owned and operated a pizza restaurant (Bob’s Pizza) for over 40 years. My first job was as a pizza cook and pizza deliverer! I went on to college at MLC in New Ulm, MN. There I met my husband Loren and we moved to Menomonie in 2002. We have two daughters, Kyra (20) and Aleya (19). I most enjoy spending time with my family and camping. I also enjoy running. I have ran 12 marathons with another planned in October 2024. Other things I enjoy are cooking, crocheting, hiking, and cuddling my kitties! Currently I am finishing my masters in Academic Administration and hope to graduate in the Summer of 2025.
Kindergarten Classroom – Mrs. Hemling
Welcome to Kindergarten! I I was born in Wisconsin and lived there until we moved to Michigan when I was in 5th grade. (This is where I became a Lions fan.) From a young age I knew that I wanted to teach young children. I met my husband Tim in college and we got married after we graduated in 2001. We have two children Micah and Hannah.
I attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2001. I started my teaching career in a small town in Nebraska where I taught grades K-3 for 8 years. Shortly after our son was born we moved back to Wisconsin where I stayed home with my children and ran an in home daycare for 3 years. I then returned to teaching and taught preschool for 4 years. In 2018 we moved to Florida where I subbed for the first year and after that taught PreK for 3 years. This is my third year at St. Paul’s.
